Annual Easter egg hunt at Hamlin Park with thousands of eggs, age-grouped hunts, and a quick, high-energy scramble that turns into a laid-back park hang.
A classic neighborhood moment, but one you have to play a little strategically.
Hamlin Park’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is a quick-hit, high-chaos situation in the best way. Kids run, eggs disappear in minutes (yes, even with thousands of them), and then it settles into a very chill park hang while everyone comes down from the excitement.
Also: this is a top-tier excuse to dress your kids up and get cute spring photos without having to orchestrate anything. Between the eggs, the outfits, and the park backdrop, it kind of does the work for you.
The event is put on by the Hamlin Park Advisory Council, and the $10 per family donation goes directly back into improvements for the park, which makes it an easy yes.

They usually break the hunts out by age group, which helps keep things somewhat civilized, but make no mistake, this moves quickly. If you’re even a few minutes late, you’ll miss it.
A few things to know going in:
It’s one of those mornings where you show up ready, lean into the chaos, and inevitably run into a few people you know.
